Lingerie of the Day has been a dream of mine since I discovered intimates. They were and are magical to me. So don’t worry, Lingerie of the Day is not ending by any means! It’s transforming into something more multi dimensional and fulfilling for me, as well as (I hope!) my followers. I am slipping into something a little more fitting, that privately, I have wanted the blog to be all along, infinite milk, enriching, spacious, deep and with a drift.
It was a huge leap of faith to begin Lingerie of the Day last fall and I could not have done it without the support of my partner. So much gratitude there! I began not knowing a thing about the blogging world, or how to build a website, or edit a photo, or communicate with brands, I simply wanted to share my love of intimates. Through this journey I have learned a significant amount, and much of it was about myself. I am a people pleaser, to the extreme, a perfectionist, intensely introverted, and an avid learner, (I will become immersed in a topic and learn everything I possibly can about it). I never felt satisfied or proud of my work, to me, it could always be better, which would only keep me stressed about things that were out of my control. I began to get burnt out from the constant rat race of what I thought others wanted, instead of being self-referral and making decisions from a place of inspiration, passion, intuition and creativity.
Many of you have noticed, commented or sent me messages appreciating the slow changes my blog has been making over the last couple months. Thank you! As social media changes, we adapt too, and one thing I see happening is the desire for more intimate content. It is tiring for every post to be about an item of material wealth. I believe there is a shift occurring across social media and the blogoshpere where people are desiring authenticity. And this is one reason I rebranded my blog into infinite milk. Currently receiving my master’s degree, I am focusing on maternity care and women’s sexuality. I have met and worked with women who time and time again are lacking basic knowledge of their sensuality, which my heart breaks. Infinite milk will dive into topics across all spaces of womanhood, from whether or not it's worth trying organic tampons, to perineum massages and a million more things! I am striving to create a haven of nourishment for the feminine and a place where women have access to vital knowledge that may not be abundantly available elsewhere.
